Leticia Emme is a senior expert in impact and sustainability across multiple sectors and regions.

Leticia provides strategic advice to corporations, asset allocators and asset managers, foundations and family offices to help them manage social and environmental risks and improve impact performance.

Leticia’s experience spans across the public and private sector. Prior to North & Sur, Leticia was Managing Director at the US Development Finance Corporation (DFC) where she stood up and run the Impact Management, Monitoring and Learning (IMML) division. At DFC Leticia oversaw and managed the impact assessment and monitoring of DFC’s global $ 35 billion dollar portfolio, hired and run a team of 15, and positioned DFC as a leader in impact management.

Prior to DFC, Leticia worked at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) as the Head of Impact Standards and Engagement where she led the evolution of IRIS to IRIS+, working in collaboration with 1,000+ stakeholders from all around the world and across the impact sector.

Previously, Leticia was a Director at the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) where she managed the Social Investor Working Group and set up the Responsible Inclusive Finance Facility in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Earlier in her career Leticia was a management consultant for Oliver Wyman and Accenture. Leticia holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. from Universidad de San Andres (Argentina).

Over her career, Leticia has written and published several pieces of guidance on impact management, stakeholder collaboration and produced thought leadership and case studies highlighting investors practices. Leticia is also a frequent speaker at conferences and events as well as in graduate school programs.
